Whitby “Proper” Vinegar



Whitby ‘Proper’ Vinegar is brewed using the same process as making beer using malted barley, made as it should be. 
– The ‘proper stuff’ for your fish ‘n’ chips. –
It’s an often forgotten secret weapon in the kitchen using its own chemistry to lift and enhance flavours.
Much of the “vinegar” you see and use in cafes and fish ‘n‘ chip shops is non brewed condiment. Its not ‘proper’ vinegar!! Non brewed condiment is a malt vinegar substitute, acetic acid mixed with colourings and flavourings, making its manufacture a much quicker process and cheaper than the production of ‘proper’ malt vinegar
