Our smoked haddock is traditionally smoked over oak at a local smokehouse, giving a natural, subtle golden colour that runs right through the fish. This is a world away from the neon-yellow, artificially dyed haddock found in many supermarkets, which is painted rather than properly smoked.

A traditional British favourite, smoked haddock is perfect for poaching gently in milk for a simple and satisfying supper, or as the key ingredient in a classic Kedgeree. Its delicate smokiness and firm, flaky texture make it one of the most versatile and comforting fish in British cooking.
