Tip: The smaller vessels that land daily with lobster, brown crab, velvet crab and line caught fish generally return to port between the hours of 11.00 to 20.00. They always discharge their catch at the South end (Swing Bridge end) of the market.
The larger trawlers tend to land through the night on the north end of the market. A good time to watch for this is between 05.00 and 08.00. This can vary - depending on the state of the tide.
